Using the tool

VideoIntoGIF is a free browser-based tool for converting short video clips into GIFs. No account is required. You are responsible for the videos you select and how you use the GIFs you create, including obtaining any necessary rights or permissions.

Your content

You retain your rights to your video and output. VideoIntoGIF does not claim ownership of your content or receive your video files.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of compatibility, conversion speed, or uninterrupted operation. Browser and device limits apply. Keep a copy of your original video. Features and limits may change.

Third-party software

The converter uses FFmpeg and ffmpeg.wasm. Their licenses and attribution are included in the third-party notices. The opening ocean demo is a camera movement over an AI-generated photograph. The project also includes the MDN CC0 flower video used during testing.
